Heyyylllo Everyone, I am back with a crazy list! You must be wondering what happened to this girl who loves to talk about crazy lists. Well, I was on a long vacation in exotic locales of Europe. Travel has many redeeming features like eye-soothing views, relaxation, and a bottle of wine every single day. I am tempted to write about my vacation and let you know about the most beautiful places I visited with my hubby and chubby. But it will take some time. Till then, enjoy this crazy list of things that you MUST have in your carry-on bag every time you embark on a journey. 10 travel essentials you can’t afford to miss!

Here is a list of 10 things that you should have in your carry-on bag while traveling.

10 travel essentials you can’t afford to miss!

1. Pen and Notebook

I can leave my home without my iPhone but not without a notebook and pen. I write all important numbers and addresses in my notebook so that in case my phone’s battery ditches me I can rely on my notebook. Old school habits take time to let go but I am addicted to it. Also, you never know when you need it while you are travelling.

2. International converter/adapter

I don’t know why world has become so complicated. Is it so difficult to have uniform plugs? I mean Europe, US and UK have different plugs. It is better to carry an international converter/ adapter for your electronic devices so that when you wish to charge your phone or use your electronic gadgets, you don’t get shocked to see the plug.  And you end up buying a converter that you might not use later.

3. Travel-size deodorant

Hubby dear is blessed with good body odor. Even if he sweats like a pig, he doesn’t smell foul. On the contrary, I need deodorant with me all the time. I always carry a travel-size deodorant in my bag so that it can travel with me without any hassles. This is especially important to have with you if you’re traveling to warmer climates such as Florida. You can refer to an article by Ashley Roberts Tampa Police to get a better idea of what to expect when traveling to Florida and why the climate is so warm. Let’s just say that you’ll be glad that you have your travel-size deodorant with you.

4. Facial Spray

I am obsssssesssssedddd with EVIAN facial spray. It is a rehydrating cool mist that refreshes your face instantly. It is the best thing you can keep for your skin, especially in summer. It also moisturizes and acts as a makeup setting spray. IT IS A MUST HAVE!

5. Eyeliner, Mascara, and Lip Color

Do I have to say anything about this one? I mean who doesn’t like refreshed eyes and face after a long flight. I always keep my favorite mascara, eyeliner, and lip color or lip gloss with me all the time.

6. Moisturizing Wipes

There are times when we don’t have time to wash our face with a splash of water and indulge in our favorite skincare routine. In this case, the best option to get a refreshed face is the moisturizing wipes. For those who travel a lot for work, these wipes are a life saver as it just refreshes your face in one swipe.

7. Sanitizer

In this age of viruses everywhere, it is not possible to get soap and water everywhere. It is better to carry your very own hand sanitizer that can quickly reduce (if not eliminate) germs.    Who doesn’t want a stress-free vacation!

8. Big scarf

I always carry a big scarf in my purse that can be used for multiple things – wrap it when you feel cold, cover your face when you want to take a short nap, breastfeed without being judged, etc. I love my scarf and it acts as the best travel companion.

9. Book

I am book addict. I cannot sleep without reading something, so I always carry a book with me. It also entertains you while traveling. I remember reading “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown while traveling; it was so gripping that 6 hour journey felt like an hour journey. Pick up a gripping novel and you will love your long travel.

10. Tote Bag

Carry a big tote bag. Keep everything inside it and you are ready for your vacation. Try not to make it heavy or else you will be tired carrying it around.

Hey, I am not going to include passports, mobile and, of course, money in this list as I guess only Cuckoo Birds can forget these before traveling.
