8 Must-Have Beauty Products for Busy Women

1. BB cream

Beauty or Blemish Balm (BB) creams are the perfect combination of moisturizer, and color corrector and also contain SPF as a protector. BB cream is neither like a layer of foundation nor a simple moisturizer. Tinted moisturizer hydrates your skin and gives a glowing result really quickly.

I swear by: Garnier BB cream. It comes with various options to choose from depending on your skin type and color. Dr Jart+ is also a good option if you want to indulge in high-end products.

2. 3Es

Eyeliner, Eyelash, and Eyebrows define your entire look and it doesn’t require much effort and time. Black eye pencils, mascara, and eyebrow pencils should always find a place in your purse to get a 2-minute look anytime and anywhere.

I swear by: Maybelline Master Drama Kohl Liner, L’oreal Voluminous Mascara, and Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Brow Wiz.

3. Tinted Lip Balm or Lip Color

Dry lips…Oh! That sounds so rude! You should always be equipped with a tinted lip balm in your makeup pouch or purse. I also suggest keeping a nude or pink lip color with you always so that when you are at work and you don’t want to be outlandish you can use it.

I swear by: L’oreal and Nars

4. Moisturizer

Your hands and your legs should always be moisturized. I remember using moisturizer in the car most of the time as I used to forget to use it at home in a rush. It is a lifesaver at times and cannot be ignored.

5. Deodorant

Do I have to say anything about this one… JUST CARRY IT!

I swear by: Nivea Protect & care

6. Dry Shampoo

If you are as busy as I am and have thick wavy hair like mine, I am sure you cannot take the risk of washing your hair every morning as chances are high that you will surely get late. God Bless the guy who invented dry shampoo. Good dry shampoo will not only soak all oil from your hair but will also clean it without water, leaving your hair smell fresh. I was actually very nervous before using it as I wasn’t sure how safe it is for hair but now I keep it with me all the time. Even if your hair is clean, dry shampoo can add volume to your hair.

7. Moisturizing Wipes

There are times when we don’t have time to wash our face with a splash of water and indulge in our favorite skincare routine. In this case, the best option to get a refreshed face is the moisturizing wipes. For those who travel a lot for work, these wipes are a lifesaver as it just refresh your face in one swipe. I keep one in my bag and one in my bathroom as it also works like a miracle when you are too tired to take your makeup off before sleeping. (I know, it’s a crime but it happens to me most of the time.)

However, picking a moisturizing wipe that suits your skin type is important. For example, if you have sensitive skin, you want to avoid wipes with harsh chemicals, as they can irritate your skin. Also, if you have tattoos on parts of your body where you’ll normally apply the wipes, choose pure wipes free of soap and strong chemicals. And speaking of tattoos, always ensure that your tattoo artist uses a needle cleaner to avoid adverse effects on your skin.

I swear by: Neutrogena Wipes

8. Face palette or Eye palette

Face palettes are a must-have in your purse. Travel-size face palettes that have blusher, bronzer, and highlighter serves two important purpose: firstly, it is compact and secondly, it can also be used as eye shadows. It saves you from the hassle of keeping different blushes, highlighters, bronzer, and eyeshadow in your bag. For my lovely friends who don’t like to wear powders on their faces, they can just carry lip and cheek tints. Who doesn’t like a flushed, highlighted, and sun-kissed face?
