Mary Phillips’ under painting technique is everywhere and why not - she’s the celebrity makeup artist of Hailey Bieber, JLo, and Kendall Jenner. She is well known for clean and natural looking makeup.

Under painting technique is quite simple - first apply contour, concealer, highlighter and then foundation. That’s right! Foundation on top of contour, conceal and highlight.

I wasn’t sure how it will look on my skin but, ohhh boy, I love the end result.

This lipstick from Sephora Collection is a must-have in brown-girl’s bag. In fact, this shade will look pretty on everyone. It’s pocket-friendly with a unique packaging. It’s very smooth and has a buttery texture.

Sephora Collection #lipstories comes in matte, cream or metallic finish. I have only tried #matte but it doesn’t feel matte - it has a slight sheen and it’s not drying.

Oh!!! This is probably the best lip product I tried in 2022. I apply these on top of my lipstick or alone to get that “plumper looking lips”. I am not a big fan of lip glosses as at times they are sticky and feel heavy on lips. These gloss bombs have become my beauty staple - these leave my lips hydrated and moisturized.

I am so lucky to be born on Christmas. There’s festivities and positivity around and the whole world is in the mood of celebration.

Swipe right to see how I celebrated my birthday. My husband and daughter made my day special. I went to Vineet Bhatia’s restaurant @indegobyvineet and the food was just out of this world. My photos can’t even do justice. It’s no wonder that he is a Michelin Star chef.
