Keep swiping right!

From the vibrant hues of the sea to endless expanse of the sky, the island vacation at Koh Yao Yai in Thailand was nothing short of magic. Each day started with amazing breakfast spread, followed by relaxing Thai spa, exploring the island village and savoring delicious Thai cuisine.

We stayed at @anantarakohyaoyai which is an outstanding family-friendly resort. And don’t get me started with the hospitality- we all know that Anantara is famous for its warm and welcoming hospitality. They ensured that we were safely transported to the island on their speed boat. The restaurants served Thai, Japanese, Indian and Italian cuisine which was a big plus as I am a vegetarian and I wasn’t sure that I will get veg options. I will need another post to show you the luxurious property. Every day there used to be an activity in the resort so that we are entertained at all times. We stayed for 5 days and there wasn’t even a single day where we thought - “ I am bored”.

This was a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hope you enjoyed little snapshots of the vacation.

This has to be my favorite fall makeup trend this season. Dark Smokey eye makeup has always been my kind of look - start with dark base color, build it up with darker shade, use light color for transition and finish it with black kohl pencil plus mascara.

I am using Fenty Beauty Eye Shadowstix in the shade “In big truffle” and Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry mini palette. L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Panorama mascara is my new favorite and I can’t get over it.

✨Before you buy the Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation, here are three important things to keep in mind! ✨

1. It Oxidizes: Like other Huda Beauty Complexion products this also oxidizes so get a shade lighter than the recommended shade. Or get shade samples before purchasing so that you are happy with the shade.

2. A little goes a long way - do not put it directly on the face or you might find it heavy. It’s medium to full coverage so take a little and build it as per your preference.

3. It comes in plastic packaging. I don’t know why it became an issue considering I have used other high-end foundations in plastic packaging. Honestly, I like plastic packaging as it’s easy to travel with it. Also, I have dealt with the heartbreak of seeing my $50 foundation breaking in front of my eyes and ruining my dress so I do not mind plastic packaging.

All in all, I liked this foundation as it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and it’s easy to play with it.

Shade: 350G Dulce De Leche

Does it give blurring complexion? I am not sure about that but it does give natural airbrush. It’s a lightweight foundation with medium to buildable coverage. It stays put for a long time.

The shade looks a bit light on my skin but it oxidizes and compliments my skin tone. I haven’t used any primer underneath just moisturizer (that’s what I normally use) and it looks incredible. It is definitely my new favorite!

✨Best Lip Combo For Festive Season ✨

Yes! I do not believe in gatekeeping my favorite lip combo. It is Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix in the shade Riri paired with Fenty Beauty Trace’D Out Lip Liner in Brown’D Out.

Ahhh…Y’all know that I love Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Heat, Cream and, now, Stix. It is super comfortable to wear, instantly hydrates and moisturizes your lips, plus it’s not sticky ( I detest that feeling). The color pay off is incredible and it gives luminous shine to the lips. I think I am obsessed with this one.

I have paired it with Fenty Beauty Trace’D Out Lip Liner - again smooth application, very comfortable and lasts really long. If you ask me - Is it worth it? I will say go for it. I am someone who hates splurging on lip liners and mascaras when there are great drugstore options. But this one is an exception - splurge on one color that is neutral and one shade darker than your skin tone. You can pair it with multiple lip colors.

Is it brown girl approved - Totally!

From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be special. The ambiance was so inviting, and the menu was like a dream come true for any pasta and pizza lover. 🍕🍝

I have turned into a vegetarian and at times it can be challenging to get a good vegetarian meal. I was practically twirling with excitement when my pasta arrived, and the pizza? Let’s just say I had to control myself to take these pictures. My husband and daughter ordered “Polo” - a yellow corn fed chicken breast with beetroot purée. It looked so sumptuous that they didn’t even wait for me to take a picture.

If you’re ever in Singapore and craving authentic Italian, Prego is the place to be. Seriously, it’s worth every bite!
