As a makeup enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for products that promise to deliver a luminous and radiant complexion. Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette had been on my radar for a while, and I finally decided to try it. After using it for several weeks, I must say it has lived up to most of my expectations. 

What is the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette?

The Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette offers four versatile shades that cater to a wide range of skin tones. From soft champagne to warm bronze, the shades are well-chosen to add dimension, highlight, and warmth to your face. It comes in 3 different shades that are suitable for all skin tones.

What I liked about Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette?

Packaging: The first thing that caught my attention was the packaging of the product – it is sleek and sophisticated. It comes in a sturdy, clear plastic case with the Dior logo embossed over the cover. I like the fact that it is compact and travel-friendly. 

Shade Range: The Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette offers four versatile shades – White, Golden, Bronze, Rosy Blush. White and Golden are strobe shades, and Pink and Bronze are blushes. The shades are well-chosen to add dimension, highlight and warmth to your face. These shades can also be used as eyeshadows which makes this palette multi-purpose.

Texture and Pigmentation: The extra-fine texture of this palette with pearlescent pigments makes it easier to blend and manage the intensity of the shade from a discreet glow to a disco-ball effect. It has a buttery-smooth texture that can be used with fingertip or highlighter blush depending on the kind of intensity you desire. It gives a stunning, beaming glow without emphasizing texture.

Longevity:  I know that the longevity of a product depends on the weather and the kind of setting spray you apply at the end of your makeup. I have tried it with and without makeup setting spray in hot humid weather. It stayed put for a long time (5 hours) when I applied it with a setting spray in the hot and humid conditions of Singapore and Dubai. I must say I am really impressed with this as it’s beyond my expectations. Without the setting spray, you can expect it to stay put for 5 hours in a normal temperature-controlled environment and 3 hours in hot/humid conditions.  

What I didn’t like about Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette?

Packaging: Yes, the packaging of this product impressed me and disappointed me at the same time. The expectation from a luxury product is high both in terms of the content of the product as well as packaging. It doesn’t even come with a mirror, which would have made it even more convenient for on-the-go touch-ups.

Price: We all know that Dior is known for its luxury makeup, and the price point is a bit steep. You can find more affordable options in the market that offer the similar results. That being said, the quality and the Dior brand do justify the cost to a certain extent. Also, I know if I have to splurge on makeup then Dior is a brand that will not disappoint me.

My Final Review: I am obsessed with this palette! The shades in this palette are pure magic. They’re like little pans of fairy dust that give a radiant complexion. I feel like I could blind people with my glow from a mile away, but in a good way, you know?
The texture is so buttery and smooth and its pigmentation is on point. Just a tiny dab and bam! Instant ethereal glow.

So, if you’re looking for a makeup miracle worker, grab the Dior Backstage Glow Face palette. It’s like having your own personal spotlight in a compact. Trust me, you won’t just glow, you’ll shine bright like a diamond! ✨💁‍♀️

However, the price tag may deter some budget-conscious consumers. If you’re willing to splurge on high-end makeup, this palette won’t disappoint.
