My Monthly favourite beauty products – January

Happy Chinese New year! This is a year of Rooster. Do you know your Chinese Zodiac animal? Find your Zodiac animal here . I am Rat. I have never done monthly favorites before  but this time I am going to sit and talk about my favourite products of the month. From getting an opportunity to learn from celebrity makeup artist, Mario, and his muse Kim Kardashian to starting a new Madhubani painting after years, January was a fantastic month.I also indulged in shopping, dining and entertainment to respect Dubai Shopping Festival (Wink!). I hope you enjoy my very first Monthly Favorites – January.

Claudalie Divine Oil

I am a huuuuuuuuge admirer of face and body oils and now I have accommodated them in my beauty routine. I have an extremely dry skin and this is the only oil that lasts whole day. It has a blend of grapeseed oil, hibiscus, sesame and argan oils along with a patented anti-oxidant. It has a sweet fragrance and I don’t mind it. I love the fact it comes with a spritzer so it becomes easy in application. Who doesn’t like mess free life!

ELF Studio Moisturizing Lipstick – Blackberry

Do you want Notice-Me, lip color? Yes! Then this lipstick is for you. It gives a full creamy coverage in one stroke with an impressive lasting power. I wasn’t sure whether dark lips are my “thing”- this is a wallet friendly option and I love the compliments I get when I wear it. If you follow me on Instagram, you will find me wearing it in every other day.

NYX Soft Matte Lip cream- Copenhagen

Whoah! Finally, I got this shade in Dubai. I hated it – when lady at the NYX counter used to say “It is unavailable, you will not get it anywhere in Dubai” or “Out of stock” on online shopping websites. Copenhagen is an absolutely gorgeous dark cranberry lip color. It has a soft creamy, mousse like texture with a lasting power of 3-4 hours. I am not a big fan of the formula but I love this lip color. It has a permanent space reserved in my bag.

 

Glam Glow mask

Glam glow isn’t a miracle mask but it is a great mask. January was a little busy month for me and for instant glow, it was a perfect choice for quick fix. No wonder it has a great reputation in entertainment industry.

Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo 

My hair really gets bored with the shampoo I use for more than a month. I switch my shampoo every now and then as it becomes less effective with the constant use, leaving my hair dry and dull. This month I picked up OGX Brazilian Keratin Therapy shampoo, it claimed to strengthen and soften the hair. I love the fact it nourishes my hair and makes it healthy.

Bath & Body Works Body Mist – Peony

Who doesn’t like to smell like classic lady? This is the first body spray I purchased from Bath & Body Works store and I am hooked to this one. The floral fragrance of the mist makes me feel as if I am walking in a garden full of flowers. Bye! Bye! Victoria Secret for a while.
