It’s been a long time since I indulged in a new lip gloss frenzy. With every brand coming up with a range of lip gloss that claims ultra glossy and juicy lips, I feel that there isn’t any harm in trying out new lip gloss every now and then. I have an uncontrolled fetish for lip glosses – intense hydration with a tint is something you can’t ignore. After trying for more than 6 months, I can safely write Huda Beauty Faux Filler Lip Gloss review without being biased. Is it worth it? Let’s read the most authentic review of this viral lip gloss.

What did I like about Huda Beauty Faux Filler Lip Gloss?
After looking at Huda’s infamous claim on TikTok, I decided to jump into the trend and purchase Huda Beauty Faux Filler Lip Gloss. The thing is when the claim is so outlandish, the level of expectation also goes up multi-fold. I bought the shade Sugar Baby which is a beautiful light pink shade. If you have pigmented lips then I would suggest that you use a lip liner underneath it.
Now let’s talk about things I truly liked about this lip gloss:
- It is formulated with vitamin E and vegan collagen to help hydrate and moisturize the lips.
- The doe applicator of the lip gloss takes out the perfect amount of product.
- There’s no tingling or sticky feeling after using it. The formula is thicker and gives hydration to the lips making them feel plump and shiny.
- The packaging of the product is gorgeous.
- The price point of the gloss is quite affordable.
What I don’t like about Huda Beauty Faux Filler Lip Gloss?
As I said earlier, when your claims are outlandish then the level of expectations also goes up. So here are a few things that I didn’t like about it:
- The formula has a thicker consistency – if you use it more than required then it feels heavier on the lips.
- It didn’t give me any reflective glass-like finish and the formula settled in my fine lines.

I love Huda Beauty as a brand – it rarely disappoints. Huda Beauty Faux Filler Lip Gloss provides lips with a beautiful shine and hydrates it for a long time. I have dry lips requiring lip gloss or lip balm every 2 hours. And this lip gloss stayed put for a long time without any reapplication. You have to line your lips and then apply it on top to get a glass-like-shine and pop of color. I used it without liner too but it settled on my fine lines and I found the shade to be lighter than what I expected.
If you are someone who needs a lip gloss that nourishes and hydrates for a long time, this lip gloss is for you. It comes in 7 juicy shades and gives a flattering shine to the lips. You can skip it if you already have most of the shades from another brand.
