My Monthly Favorite Beauty Products- April

April Favorites

Hello Love, it’s my monthly favorite time again. Let’s unwrap monthly favorite beauty products- April

For someone who loves taking care of skin, I’ve never been into a skincare regimen.  I used to wash my face, apply day/night cream and that’s it. But last month, I was introduced to double cleanse when I was researching about Korean skincare. The double cleanse starts out with an oil cleanser followed by a foaming cleanser. When it comes to face, oil cleansers are very essential to your cleansing routine as it takes out oil-based debris such as makeup, SPF and pollutants.

It’s not really just a Korean Beauty secret. Sheet masks were also never a part of the routine. Recently, though, I became a convert. You can use sheet mask while watching your favorite show, reading a book, checking your social media – and afterward, you are left with the sense of accomplishment and a glow.

So, without further ado, here is a crazy mix of products that were my monthly favorite beauty products April.

Boots No7 Cleansing Oil

In April, I picked up the No 7 Beautiful skin cleansing oil – a luxurious lightweight oil that helps dry skin behave like normal skin for healthy looking, bright, beautiful skin. Oh! This beauty product instantly sold it to me with this description – especially as it has the words “beautiful”, “bright” and “healthy” in the description. I have used it for a month now and I can say that this product lived up to its expectation. The oil formula glides onto dry skin and after doing a massage for 1-2 minutes, rinse it off.

SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off

Holy Grail! Finally, I found an exfoliator that can deal with a devil on my face, blackheads. This scrub smells divine (Please don’t eat it!) and leaves your skin porcelain smooth and soft. If you haven’t read my review then read it here.

Skinfood

Sheet Mask

I am not living under the rock, I know how hyped sheet face masks are. Now, I know the hype is real. In case if you don’t know yet, I enjoy using sheet masks. One of my favorite sheet mask for this month was Tony Moly I’m Real sheet masks – fun, affordable, and effective. I find that after using sheet masks, skin becomes smooth which makes the makeup application easy.

Sephora waterproof eye makeup remover

I received this with my Sephora box. This is a lifesaver for me. It works amazingly with my waterproof mascara and liner. I never purchase makeup remover as I use makeup wipes or coconut oil but ever since I have used this I am hooked to it. This feels oily at first but it quickly fades. I remove my makeup in one swipe. Perfect!

Milani Baked Bronzer 06 – Golden

I was missing out something – Milani brand and baked bronzers. Milani baked bronzers are crafted on Italian terracotta tiles.  This is a beautiful bronzer, it gives a perfect radiant look. It is a dark bronzer with a hint of copper and mahogany swirl.  Go with the glow…stay golden!

Monthly favorite beauty products

Loreal Infallible Fixing mist

This new kid in the block isn’t easy to use. Loreal Infallible fixing mist claims to extend the wear of your makeup and prevent it from melting, fading and cracking. It has a ball bearing which shakes up the mixture before using. Shake the bottle before use or you might end up getting white hue on your face. Hold it around 20/25 cm away from the spray and spritz in an X & T motion. I am not sure if I like this spray or not. I might take some time to give my final verdict. Have you used this mist?

Victoria Secret Glossy Lip Oil – Coconut splash

Obsessed. I love this lip oil and it smells divine. I am so glad that I picked this up from Victoria Secret. I am impressed with the packaging of this product and the roll-on applicator. It keeps my lips healthy and moisturized. This little gem stays with me all the time.

  1. That sugar scrub looks amazing! I’m always looking for scrubs because I also have those pesky blackheads that just don’t want to go away. I’m also looking for a makeup mist, so definitely let us know your final thoughts! So many people recommend the Urban Decay one, but I would prefer Loreal as it’s a more affordable option.

  15. Would you say the L’Oreal infallible fixing mist works? I’ve been looking for a good fixing spray to stop my make up from moving during the day (I work 8 hour shifts in retail), but I have yet to find one that I’ve been impressed with

    1. L’oreal Infallible fixing mist is good if you shake it really well to get most out of this product. It worked for me for good 4 hours but I am not sure if it will work for such a long duration. I generally wear makeup for 4-5 hours only. I am going to try it out for more than 8 hours and let you know my take on this product. I can recommend you Loreal Infallible Makeup Extender setting spray and ELF Makeup Mist and spray, my cousin uses these for more than 10 hours and it works! Thanks 🙂

    1. This black sugar mask is divine 🙂
Unfortunately, in Dubai, we don’t have Sephora subscription box…I still don’t understand why they don’t have it here. So I can’t tell you about their subscription box 🙁

  22. I was looking around for a gift for my wife, she’s a lip gloss nut so maybe I’ll see about this coconut splash. It sounds pretty neat and just in time for summer! Thanks

  23. I have been interested in Milani…I heard their products are amazing

    1. Try their baked blushes and bronzers, you will fall in love with Milani. 🙂

  24. I think good eye makeup removers are heaven. And, as I use coconut oil for many thongs, the lip oil would be great.

    1. I am a coconut oil lover too and honestly, I would have never purchased eye makeup remover but this one is a surprise for me too. Lip Oil is awesome 🙂

  25. I’ve been using some Korean products lately and I’m really loving it too. I could see and feel the results, especially when using clay and night cream on my face. I should try some of the products you’re currently using. They all look promising.

    1. I have fallen in love with Korean skincare products too. Thanks…I am glad that you liked the post! 🙂

  26. I have been using the face priming mist from MAC, but I am excited a drugstore brand has made something similar and WAY more affordable! Counting the days till my MAC mist is history:)

    1. I love MAC Prep and Prime Fix too as I love how lightweight it feels. At first, I started comparing L’oreal fixing mist with MAC but then I realized both are completely different. Thanks 🙂
