What it is about being a mom and a sleep deprived mammal? I thought about it several times after my baby was born.  Unlike any other job, motherhood doesn’t come with any vocational training course. We learn and unlearn several times, still we don’t get the recipe to become a perfect mother. I may regret lack of sleep and exhausting days but I treasure the affection I get from my two-year-old girl.

No, this post is not about motherhood. Lack of sleep presented not a beautiful gift, “DARK CIRCLES”.  I refused to live with dark circles so I invested in a good concealer and an under eye cream. I am going to talk about a product that helped me look better and less sleep deprived, zombie. I have been using CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES RICH for past three months and I can see slight improvement in my dark circles.

About CLINIQUE?

Clinique is the first dermatologist tested cosmetic brand. It was launched in 1968 after an article in US Vogue discussed whether great skin can be achieved through a proper skin care regime. Estee Lauder’s daughter-in-law is one of the three people who conceptualised and developed a brand that bought “dermatological” thinking to cosmetics. And yes, it is a brand of Estee Lauder Companies.

What it is?

CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES RICH claims that it diminishes the LOOK of circles, shadows, puff. Intensely moisturizes. It is allergy tested, 100% fragrance free and Ophthalmologist tested.

How does it feel?

The peach coloured cream is fragrance free and has a thick texture. Small amount of cream gives extra moisture boost to the skin which means that a small bottle lasts for long (wink*)

What I liked?

Love, love, love this product. To be very honest, I never expected a cream to reduce or vanish dark circles as this would have been a miracle. I expected it to just make it LOOK a little better and, boy, it delivered the promise. I have been using this product for last three months and I can see my dark circles getting lighter. I am not kidding but this cream has worked for my eyes. It hydrates my thirsty eyes and gives it a moisture boost that brightens the under eye skin. Hey, it isn’t greasy as well. It definitely strengthen the delicate skin around the eye and it is also a good base for concealer.

What I disliked?

I am not impressed with the packaging of this product. I think this product requires a pump bottle packaging so that you don’t have to insert your finger in the jar. I find this product to be expensive but considering the fact that small jar lasts longer, I am in my happy zone.

Overall, I will give CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES RICH rating of 4/5. It is an excellent product to rejuvenate and moisturise  thin skin under the eye. Even though it cannot completely vanish dark eye circles,it will definitely improve fine lines and the appearance of dark circles. In my case it has worked like a miracle, however, I would not recommend this product if you want to completely erase dark circles.
